Joining Karthik in the coaching contingent is former England batter Ian Bell, who will link up with the squad on January 18 after his commitments with the Melbourne Renegades in the Big Bash League. Head coach Neil Killeen, assistant coaches Richard Dawson and Carl Hopkinson, and mentor Graeme Swann complete the experienced support staff guiding the Lions.

The tour’s schedule unfolds as follows:

Two-day practice match against India A (Jan 12-13)
First unofficial Test (Jan 17-20)
Second unofficial Test (Jan 24-27)
Third unofficial Test (Feb 1-4)
All matches will be played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, commencing at 10:00 AM local time.
